Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a talented Finance Officer to join the Corporate Services team in our Brisbane office. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with Financial Controller and Financial Accountant. Together, you'll ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and records, while undertaking essential processing and reconciliation tasks in alignment with our policies and procedures.
In addition, you will be involved in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient payment processes. Your responsibilities will include managing the accounts payable email account, entering, and coding invoices, maintaining direct debit schedules, reconciling creditor statements, and processing weekly payments. Also, you will handle credit card management, bank reconciliations, staff expense claims, receipt processing, and provide support during month-end and year-end processes.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Demonstrated office administration experience (experience within the professional services industry and/or a Chartered Accounting firm will be highly regarded)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and well developed computer literacy
High level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
A collaborative approach to teamwork and the ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders
A driven individual who is a proactive and innovative thinker who wants to consistently add value by analysing, comprehending, and critically examining the work they are engaged in
