Job Description
What you’ll do
This is a role with real scope to add value as our team grows and adapts. We’re building on our recent rapid growth by investing in better systems and smarter processes, with a focus on quality and client care. If you enjoy variety and appreciate being part of positive change, you’ll join a supportive team that values integrity, collaboration, and high-quality work as we set up for the future together. In this role, you’ll:
Strong compliance background including BAS and GST, and preparation of financial reports
Proactively manage client communication, respond to queries, and provide advisory support
Support internal process improvements, system implementation and workflow optimisation
Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients while providing development, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced team members
Act as an escalation point for complex reconciliations or compliance queries
What you’ll bring
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping or BAS Agent role
Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping (FNS40222) preferred
Professional, client-focused and invested in building trusted client relationships
Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt in high pressure situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
