We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Superannuation Team in Brisbane. This role is well suited to someone early in their SMSF career who is keen to learn, develop strong technical foundations, and grow within a supportive and experienced team.
Please note we are open to a full-time or part-time engagement, offering flexibility with the opportunity to work 3 to 4 days per week and adjust hours to suit if preferred.
What you’ll do

Assist with the preparation of SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation

Support the administration of a portfolio of SMSF clients under guidance from senior team members

Review fund transactions including contributions, pensions, investments, and member balances

Liaise with SMSF trustees, financial advisers, auditors, and internal teams to respond to queries

Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with legislative and compliance requirements

Develop your technical knowledge of superannuation legislation and SMSF best practice
What you’ll bring

A qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Finance (or currently studying)

Some experience in an Australian public practice environment, with exposure to SMSFs desirable but not essential

An interest in building a career specialising in SMSFs and superannuation

A professional, client-focused approach and strong team ethic

Good written and verbal communication skills
