Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and general purpose reports for various entities and industries
  • Conduct tax research, payroll tax preparation and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation
  • Align your interests and growth opportunities to serve a diverse client base, resolving issues, and addressing individual client needs. This can provide exposure to a range of business structures – partnerships, trusts, companies and individuals.
  • Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts
  • Collaborate with and/or learn from our other divisions and capability offerings across the firm.

What you’ll bring

  • A degree in either Accounting, Business or Commerce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MYOB and Xero
  • Professional, client focused and invested in wanting to develop into a trusted subject matter expert and advisor
  • Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high pressure situations 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
