Why this role matters
As a Supervisor in our Restructuring and Recovery team, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and businesses navigate complex financial distress with confidence and clarity. Leveraging strong technical expertise and sound commercial judgment, you’ll lead complex insolvency matters, support high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor within the firm. This role is pivotal to maintaining technical excellence and contributing to the continued growth and culture of our practice.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency and reconstruction engagements
- Conduct high-level insolvency and financial analyses, including review and interpretation of complex financial statements
- Prepare and review detailed technical reports and client-facing written communications
- Apply and interpret relevant legislation, including the Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act, PPSA and ARITA Code of Professional Practice
- Liaise with Directors, Managers and other business units on complex technical and commercial matters
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major, plus CA or CPA completion or in progress
- Proven Australian experience in a supervisory-level insolvency role
- Strong technical knowledge of insolvency legislation, accounting standards and professional practice requirements
- Advanced ability to analyse financial data and exercise sound commercial judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines and billing targets
