Job Description

Why this role matters

Our team offer expert support across a range of legal disputes and financial investigations. We have long been recognised as trusted experts in forensic accounting and litigation support, providing opinion evidence of the highest quality and reliability. We continue to experience growth and are looking for an analytically minded and client focused Senior Accountant or Manager seeking exposure to a wide variety of interesting and challenging engagements, working alongside leading forensic accountants who will support you to become an expert in the field
 

What you’ll do

  • Critically analyse financial and non-financial information to understand business and industry drivers
  • Following this analysis, undertaking business valuations and assessing economic loss claims
  • Conduct additional real-time financial and economic research across a variety of businesses and industries, as required
  • Analysis of large data sets and manipulation through the development of financial models
  • Preparation of expert reports for use as evidence in Court proceedings and pre-litigation matters
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders, specifically those within the legal industry
  • Excellent opportunity to build a career path within the forensic accounting industry.

What you’ll bring

  • CA or CPA accreditation (or in progress)
  • Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in either business and tax advisory, with exposure to business analysis, business valuations, and/or commercial litigation
  • Strong business acumen, inquisitive mind and genuine passion for the work you do will see you highly rewarded for your contribution to our team
  • An ability to think critically and analytically, with high attention to detail
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication, conscious that much of our work is used as evidence in Court proceedings
  • Exceptional time management skills which will assist you in meeting client deadlines, often dictated by the Court
  • A self-motivation that sees you balance working autonomously and as part of a team.
