What you’ll do 

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager to join our Business Advisory team in our Gold Coast office. As a manager, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio while continuing to develop your leadership capability: 

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality advisory and compliance outcomes  

• Take ownership of workflow, WIP, and budgets, ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently and profitably  

• Review financial statements and tax returns across a range of entity types  

• Mentor and coach seniors, supporting them in delegation, workflow, and development  

• Build strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their businesses  

• Contribute to identifying advisory opportunities and adding real commercial value  

• Support team performance, development conversations, and capability uplift  

• Play an active role in continuous improvement and innovation within the team 

What you’ll bring 

• CA or CPA qualified  

• Proven experience in Business Advisory / Tax within a public practice environment preferred 

• Strong technical capability, with confidence reviewing work and guiding others  

• A genuine interest in developing into a trusted business advisor and people leader  

• Experience mentoring or informally leading team members  

• Strong commercial thinking and ability to understand client needs beyond compliance  

• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for clients
